The Colourful Lifeguard Towers of Miami Beach

Lifeguard towers are a great staple photo-op location and make for even more interesting visuals when they are vibrantly coloured. Miami Beach is populated with quirky, multicoloured lifeguards stands that serve as stunning backdrops for your next selfie! These towers are an ideal way to brighten up your Instagram feed.

8th Magic Mountain, Miami

Miami has no shortage of colourful attractions, which is fantastic for livening up your Instagram grid. These locations include the 8th Magic Mountain. Standing outside of the Bass Contemporary Art Museum, this stunning 42-foot tall sculpture is the eighth of seven pillars in the art series created by New York based Swiss artist, Ugo Rondinone. The first seven sculptures are situated in Nevada, and Miami is lucky enough to have its own piece of the magic! The mountain’s magnitude and neon colours are certainly eye-catching, making it perfect for an intriguing Instagram picture!

Art Deco Historic District

Art Deco architecture consists of bright and pastel colours, geometric shapes, and sleek lines, creating a unique and eye-catching design that makes for a spectacular photo backdrop. The district is located in South Beach, between 5th Street and 23rd Street, along Ocean Drive, Collins Avenue, and Washington Avenue. A great way to visit the Art Deco District is during a sightseeing tour, which allows you to be guided through the district, while providing you an opportunity to take amazing photos.

Big Pink Miami

Opened in 1996, Myles Chefetz’s retro diner is unique, not only for its massive menu—including over 200 items!—but for its bubblegum pink exterior. This building is perfect to capture some lively photos - and provide you with a yummy bite to eat if you work up an appetite. Be sure to wear your best pink outfit to enhance the Barbie-esque aesthetic!

Fendi Colonnade Miami

Located in the Miami Design District is the Fendi Colonnade. The Colonnade is made up of vividly coloured walkways that are just asking to be used as a photoshoot set. A picture of you strolling through the colourful columns will definitely grab your followers’ attention.

Wynwood Walls

Wynwood Walls is an Instagram lover’s dream! This location is an open-air art installation that contains walls covered in striking graffiti and street art, which seem almost as if they were created to be used as photo backdrops. Soak in the diverse sets of art and capture content for your feed while you’re there.

Miami Beach Botanical Garden

If you’re feeling like your Instagram grid is in need of Mother Nature’s touch and the basic palm tree pictures aren’t cutting it, Miami’s Botanical Garden is the place to go. Explore the lush gardens and snap some nature-rich photos along the way that will give the appearance that you have stepped into a magical fairytale.

Little Havana

Little Havana is the Cuban heart of Miami, bursting with vibrant Latin American culture. Located around Calle Ocho (Southwest Eighth Street), this community has plenty of photo opportunities involving its delicious restaurants, unique storefronts, and gorgeous artwork. Posting pictures of Little Havana will have your friends asking you if you took a trip to Cuba, when, in reality, you just went on a fun day trip in Miami!
