What you’ll do

Book a private tour of San Antonio with Tripshepherd—San Antonio’s best small group tours (max. 7 guests). Enjoy the efficiency and exclusive benefit of having your own private local expert & guide to share unique stories, exclusive local insights & highlights as well as offering personalized recommendations tailored to your group's interests in San Antonio.

You and your private small group will enjoy complimentary downtown hotel pick up in the comfort and style of a private, air-conditioned Mercedes Metris van to journey throughout San Antonio, experiencing the city's top attractions and visitor experiences along with several famous points of interest.

Includes fully guided and narrated private tour, skip the ticket line entry & all attraction admission fees.

The first stop of the day is an exciting visit to a local cultural icon, the Alamo, where you will stand in the footsteps of heroes before. Walk among legends as you enjoy a guided tour that leads you through the courtyard revealing the story of the 1836 Battle of the Alamo. Get up close and personal with some of the Alamo’s largest weapons and fortifications- the 16 pounder cannon, palisades, and barracks. Finally, enjoy a quiet place to rest with a stroll through the lush gardens sheltered by the shade of oak trees on the historic grounds.

Next, discover an enriched combination of San Antonio’s history and region within national parks as you experience the stories of people who came into the Spanish missions in the 1700s. Discover even more about San Antonio’s roots and heritage at Missions San Jose - the largest of the city’s 4 southernmost Spanish Colonial Missions as well as the most visited. Known as the “Queen of the Missions,” its stone walls, and granary makes it a magnificent sight to see. In the heart of the city, take an elevator ride up 190 m (623 ft) to the top of the Tower of the Americas to witness the most magnificent view of the city, showcasing the stunning panoramic views of San Antonio from new heights at the tallest observation deck in Texas.

Finally, enjoy the world-renowned 15-mile urban waterway on a relaxing, 40-minute River Walk Cruise to immerse yourself in the city’s culture, history, and architecture. While on the cruise you will pass multiple points of interest such as the city’s very first neighborhood - La Villita, the Old Mill Crossing, and Selena’s Bridge where Tejano superstar Selena Quintanilla Perez was proposed to in the biopic Selena (played by world-famous actor/singer Jennifer Lopez).

Enjoy complimentary downtown hotel drop off at the end of your tour.
