What you’ll do

Welcome to the Charleston Food Walking Tour, where culinary delights and Southern flavors take center stage in the charming streets of this historic city.

Our journey begins at Joe Riley Waterfront park, where you will meet your friendly local guide and depart for your first food stop, located right on the water. Indulge your taste buds with a bowl of delectable Seafood Gumbo, a rich and flavorful dish that captures the essence of Charleston's maritime heritage.

Next as we walk along the waterfront, we will stop at the iconic Pineapple Fountain for a photo. Then, enjoy a narrated walk to Rainbow Row and City Hall, on our way to the second food stop. Delight in a bowl of Crab Soup, a savory blend of fresh crab meat and flavorful spices that embodies the essence of Lowcountry cuisine.

As we continue our food exploration, we reach our third food stop at the City Market for a Shrimp Po’ Boy – a classic Southern sandwich that combines perfectly seasoned shrimp with crisp and fluffy bread. You will have some free time to explore the Market, and try some boiled peanuts, a famous southern snack.

Our culinary adventure concludes on a sweet note with a slice of pie. Let the charming atmosphere of Charleston provide the ideal backdrop for a delightful conclusion to our food-filled day. We then walk back to Joe Riley Waterfront park and finish the tour.

Join us on the Charleston Food Walking Tour, where every bite tells a story and every flavor reflects the culinary heritage of this enchanting city. Come hungry, leave satisfied, and carry the taste of Charleston with you wherever you go!
