We are thrilled to hear about the return of fireworks to Niagara Falls - Canada’s longest-running spectacular fireworks display throughout the summer. Starting May 20th guests will have the opportunity to witness the exploding fireworks over the top of the falls to enhance your trip to Niagara falls.

It is important to note, fireworks are subject to weather conditionsThe family-friendly event will take place every night at 10 pm starting Victoria Day Long Weekend up until October 10th (Canadian Thanksgiving).

There are many spots located on both the Canadian side of the falls and the United States, so we narrowed down some of our favorite spots to catch the stunning view of the majestic falls both during the day and to watch the fireworks.

Niagara Falls USA - Best Views of the Falls and Fireworks

An excellent spot to catch the display set off within the Niagara Gorge, between the Canadian horseshoe falls and American Falls is at Prospect Point Observation Tower. This is the only place located in Niagara Falls USA where you can get a panoramic view of all three falls - an amazing sight!

Another great spot that will take you closer to the falls is on the Maid of the Mist Boat Ride - an iconic double-deck vessel that takes visitors to the base of the American Falls into the mist.

To get an incredible close-up view of Bridal Veil Falls Cave of the Winds is a great spot, you can either take an elevator ride down to the Gorge and head to Hurricane Deck or can view from a deck 150 feet from the fall’s base. This is also a great spot for walkers and hikers during the day to enjoy the many hiking trails.

Niagara Falls State Park also offers awe-inspiring scenery along with thrilling attractions, miles of hiking trails, as well as dining options filled with a rich history as the oldest state park. The park is home to the attractions listed above that serve as great spots to view the Falls during the day or at night to view the fireworks.

Niagara Falls Canada - Best Views of the Falls and Fireworks

Niagara City Cruises aboard the Hornblower, a 700-passenger catamaran, guests can enjoy a 20-minute evening adventure straight into the mists to hear the thundering roar paired with the sky lit up by fireworks.

Experience the fireworks from a new perspective on the Skylon Tower, 775 feet above street level offering fabulous views of the Niagara river as it connects to Lake Ontario.
