(Season 6, Episode 4 and 5 “Niagara Part 1 and Part 2). Opening their doors in August of 1923, the Red Coach Inn was fashioned in the luxurious style of the English Tudor period. Owners William Schoelkpf and Charles Peabody were interested in creating the maximum appearance of authenticity of this period, sparing no expense in recreating the atmosphere of the iconic Bell Inn of Finedon England. The Silo



Featured on Travel Channels, Man VS Food, The Silo is a great place to eat with an amazing and sustainable history behind it! The structure itself is a former Lewiston home to the coal that fueled steamers to keep the waterfront alive. In 1998, the restaurant opened its doors and 30 years later Richard Hastings handed the keys over to his son Alan, an environmentalist. Alan created and sought out ways to reuse and recycle items creating tables, seating, and countertops using recycled church pews, using ‘greenware’ - plant-based cups, lids, and utensils. But it does not stop there, in 2010 Alana upcycled a retired train caboose from 1890, preserving a piece of historical significance which is now the location for Silo’s Ice Cream Caboose!
