Alley Theatre

Alley Theatre is a professional performing arts theater that entertains millions of people every year. With its managing director Dean R. Gladden, it’s a full-time resident acting company. Over the years, it has been growing and expanding—from a simple dance studio to now an international prominence, the theater has become an important part of Houston.

You can get to the Alley Theatre via Greenlink which is a free bus service. It has 18 stops connecting various downtown attractions. Another option is public transportation where you can use Metro Rail or bus and find the best way to get there.

Best Time to Visit 

Any time is a great time to visit the Alley Theatre. But ideally, it’s best to visit the Theatre around fall and spring because the weather is really nice. Make sure that you arrive early, probably 30-40 minutes or on time because you may not be allowed to enter late. While you’re waiting for your performance, you can have a drink and a snack. Enjoy the displays in the lobby and amazing views of downtown from the outside balcony. Use the restroom if needed. And order a drink for yourself that’ll be ready for you at the intermission.
